If you need your MA gun license, this is the class to take! We'll walk you through the process of obtaining your license. Our firearm safety class is taught by professional instructors certified by entities like the USCCA, Sig Sauer Academy, The Liberal Gun Club and the NRA! Learn about Massachusetts gun laws, safe gun handling, the loading and unloading procedure of pistols, clearing semi-auto pistol malfunctions and more! Students will get hands-on training and perform various classroom exercises and participate in live fire (required if you live in certain towns). Students will shoot a semi-auto pistol chambered in 9mm. Most companies offering the course either don't include a shooting exercise or only use .22 caliber ammo which is similar to shooting a BB gun. Get the full experience with us, take our highly rated course and become qualified to apply for your gun license! Note: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder to attend.

How to apply for your LTC/FID:

  • Take our safety course & get a course certificate
  • Take your application, certificate and documents to your local PD headquarters.
  • Get fingerprinted by the PD
  • Wait to either pick up or receive your license in the mail
  • To reschedule or cancel your class you can email us at contact@urbanfirearmsociety.com or text us at 617-817-1050
  • Due to very limited seating, you will receive a 75% refund if you cancel 3+ days in advance. You will receive a 50% refund for cancelling less than 3 days in advance.
  • You may reschedule your class date without penalty up to 24 hours before your selected class date. Rescheduling less than 24 hours from the time of your selected class date will require a $25 fee.
  • Students who do not show up to class without prior notice will not be refunded and will have to pay the full amount to attend another class.
  • If the instructor has to cancel the class for any reason, students will have the option to either reschedule for free or be fully refunded.
